General Description
This impressive estate just five miles from the coast covers over 250 acres of olive and orange groves. Our side by side cottages are found in a large park of semi-tropical plants and trees. Also part of the manor are stables, 300 yards away. Over 50 horses are housed including Zigolo, a contender in the Atlanta Olympics. The lucky owner of this domain, an accomplished equestrian, can arrange horseback riding sessions for all skill levels.

The impeccably manicured grounds are truly spectacular with many places to relax. In addition to a furnished patio, a covered outdoor kitchen is attached to Zigolo's smaller cottage. With Caltagirone tiles, a barbecue and a wood burning pizza oven, you may never use the inside kitchen.

An inground pool, 100 yards away, opens from May 15th to October 15th and is shared with the owner and his guests. Crossing the estate are miles of hiking and horseback riding trails leading through woods, verdant valleys, an ancient sandy seabed with fossilized seashells and even prehistoric caves.

Zigolo is furnished in a welcoming country style. Bedroom windows are screened, and the main cottage has a dishwasher. Maid service and meals may be requested when booking.

Brucoli, a 10 minute drive away, offers shops and dining. Among the many nearby attractions: Augusta: 15 minutes away; Lentini and its archaeological museum: 20; Catania or Siracusa: 30; Taormina or Caltagirone: 40; Noto or the fine beaches of Fontane Bianche, Arenella and Ognina: 45; Piazza Armerina: 90; Palermo or Agrigento: two and a half hours.

For 6 Guests:
Main cottage: Ground floor: Living/dining room with fireplace, TV, CD player and doors to covered furnished patio. Kitchen with stove top, oven, fridge, dishwasher and door to outside. Two bedrooms each with two single, joinable beds, one with door to garden. One bedroom with a queen size bed. One bathroom with tub and hand shower. One bathroom with shower.

Outdoor: Utility room with washing machine. Covered furnished kitchen with sink, barbecue and wood burning pizza oven.

For 7 to 8 Guests:
In addition to the above, the smaller cottage is opened. Ground floor: One bedroom with two single, joinable beds, door to garden and one step up into en suite bathroom with shower.
