General Description
Trevi, rising above its olive covered slopes, is seen long before it can be reached. The entire Valle Umbra, including the cities of Perugia, Spoleto, Assisi, Foligno and Spello, form its vast horizon. Within Trevi's walls, ancient traditions are a way of life. The town's two most important celebrations are not timed for tourists. On January 27, a statue of Trevi's patron saint is carried along the town's winding streets by the glow of candlelight. The Palio is held on the first Sunday in October. Whenever you come, Trevi will make you feel welcome.

Palio and Terziere are two side by side townhouses just a few feet away from the olive oil museum and the 13th-century church of San Francesco, whose bell tower tolls every half hour from 7 am to 10 pm.

Of the two units, Palio is more spacious and has antiques, an air conditioned bedroom and a Jacuzzi tub. Terziere is perfect for two with a price that's hard to beat. Both homes have restored brick arches from the 14th century and screens on their bedroom windows. Cleaning service may be requested when booking. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed.

A few parking spaces, shared with the olive oil museum, are behind the building, and when full, other lots are in 100 yards. All parking in town is free. Within 100 yards are three restaurants, a cafe bar, a small grocery and a museum of modern art. Friday is market day. By car, Montefalco's wines are 15 minutes away; Spello or Spoleto: 20; Assisi: 25; Todi: 35; Perugia: 40; Orvieto: 60; Cortona: 75; Rome, Florence or Siena are all within two hour drives.
