Casa Romeo is the second floor apartment in a Liberty-style villa in Quartiere Pindemonte, a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of Verona. Clients enjoy exclusive use of a small garden with an outdoor dining area, a rare find in any city.
Comfortably furnished, the interiors are mostly adorned with antiques and both bedrooms have a screened window. Casa Romeo is a non-smoking apartment. The gated parking area is shared with the owners who live in a separate apartment on the floor below.
Within 350 yards, guests will find a restaurant and a grocery store. Verona's Porta Nuova train station, with service to Venice, Milan and Florence, is within a 15 minute drive. For those without a car, a city bus stops within a 150 yard walk of the apartment, with continous service to the Porta Nuova train station and Verona's historic center.
Both the Arena di Verona, which hosts opera festivals between July and August, and the Teatro Romano, which hosts a Shakespeare Festival at the same time, are within a 15 minute drive.
This is a good base to explore the Veneto. Verona's airport is a 30 minute drive. The Soave wine area is reached in 30 minutes; Mantova: 40; Vicenza: 50; Padova: 60; Venice: 90; Milan, Bologna or Bolzano: within two hours.
